Industrial Milestones: CATL Leads the Charge

Human resource management is undergoing profound digital transformation, from recruitment to performance management, with every aspect embracing new technologies.

Industrial Milestones: CATL Leads the Charge

The biggest news comes from CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited), which held its "Super Tech Day" in late April, unveiling a roadmap that covers almost every scenario from EVs to aviation.
  1. 3rd Gen Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery: This battery has shattered charging speed records. It supports 10C-15C superfast charging, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in just 3 minutes and 44 seconds. Remarkably, it maintains this performance even at -30°C and retains over 90% capacity after 1,000 cycles.
  1. 3rd Gen Qilin Battery: Targeting the high-end market, this battery achieves an energy density of 280 Wh/kg, enabling a 1,000 km range for EVs. It features "thermoelectric separation" technology for enhanced safety and significantly reduces battery pack weight.
  1. Qilin Condensed Battery (Aviation Grade): In a major leap, CATL applied aviation-grade condensed battery tech to passenger vehicles. With an energy density of 350 Wh/kg, it supports a range of up to 1,500 km for sedans. This technology was originally developed for electric aircraft.
  1. Sodium-Ion Battery Mass Production: CATL announced that its sodium-ion batteries will enter mass production in Q4 2026. These batteries solve key issues like hard carbon gas production and are designed for extreme cold (-40°C) and energy storage, reducing reliance on lithium resources.
